PhD thesis: Validation of an ultra-compact microstructured membrane reformer system for small-capacity hydrogen production from methane
This position is part of a cooperation project with industry and research partners. Aim of the project is the development of an innovative, compact membrane reactor system with palladium composite membrane for the CO2 neutral, decentralized production of hydrogen. Mainly the further development of the metallic membrane and the overall system as well as the simulation of the process.
You have a master’s degree or equivalent in chemical engineering, material science or technical chemistry. You are interested in the conception, simulation and optimization of chemical processes. Experiences in the field of membrane separation processes are an advantage and round off your profile in addition. Candidates must possess excellent written and oral proficiency in English and ideally very good knowledge of German.
