Job description

Within the Virtual Materials Design (VirtMat) project, you will develop methods for multi-scale simulation of batteries and battery materials and apply them to current issues in battery research and computer-aided material development. You will present your work in international Conferences and Scientific Journals. The support of cooperation partners is also an integral part of your work.

Personal qualification

You have a university degree (Diplom (Uni)/Master) in physics, chemistry, or material science with a PhD and theoretical background. You also have professional experience in materials simulation and multiscale processes. Good knowledge of C++ and UNIX as well as good English skills round off your profile. HPC experience and knowledge of parallel architecture are desirable.

Salary

Salary category 13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
