Doctoral Researchers (f/m/d) (75 – 100%) In the Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1173 Wave phenomena: analysis and numerics
The CRC is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) since 2015. Its goal is to analytically understand, numerically simulate, and eventually manipulate wave propagation under realistic scenarios by intertwining analysis and numerics. We seek doctoral researchers to work in the area of wave phenomena, in particular on the analysis or numerics of nonlinear partial differential equations. You will work on your research project and you have the opportunity to attend conferences, workshops and summer schools. Engagement in teaching is possible.

The following qualifications are required seeking your consideration for this position:
- You hold an excellent Master degree in Mathematics or Physics.
- Your research profile fits the topics of the CRC.
- You are open minded, active and have a good command of English language.
Salary category 13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
