Job description

In the context of international research projects you will collaborate with partners across Europe to develop novel methods for scientists to analyses large amounts of research data. One focus lies on Deep Learning platforms that we create. Your responsibilities will include administration and development of these Platforms. You are welcome to participate in disseminating research work in a variety of teaching classes offered at KIT and publish results in scientific papers. You like to travel. Part time is only available under specific circumstances.

Personal qualification

Applicants are required to have completed a master degree at a university in computer science, physics or a related discipline. You have profound knowledge in Linux distributions and at least two programming languages (out of bash, python, erlang, c/c++). In addition you have experience in federated identity management and IT security. You work self-reliant and problem oriented. We expect you to travel several times a year, fluent knowledge in the English language (spoken/written) are a requirement. Ideally you already have knowledge in fields such as OpenID Connect, cloud technologies such as Openstack or Docker, participated in OpenSource projects and used GPUs for computing.

Salary

Salary category 13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
